Figured i'd see if anyone likes doing these things to break up their work day.
I like antiquing and old stuff.
I'll post a pic of something I think is interesting, we'll see who gets it.

Looks like a bullet removal tool for my muzzle loader, only bigger and shorter and with a handle.  So I'm going with a shell removal tool for a civil war mortar.

I got it!!!  It's an antique Butt Out tool.....found in San Francisco under old earthquake rubble!

It's called a Sugar Devil (I did err I meant to say 1800's not 18 century sorry for throwing you off)
Used to break up sugar in large casks, sometimes fruit as well.

And before they had "cubed" sugar you would use one of these to get a piece for your coffee. Sugar nippers. Sweet huh?

I don't really need a game to while away the hours. I do just fine without one.

But, my first thought was that it was some kind of ice auger -- a pretty inefficient one with no way to carry the broken ice up and out of the hole.
