A big welcome Steve I don't suppose you can place your regular column called "The Everyday Hunter" on this site, can you If not, is there a web site that we can go to that would show it What area of Pa. do you hunt in I have been several times to the Finger Lakes area and the Pa. area adjacent to that. That is certainly a beautiful area of the country, but never hunted there. I hunt in Upstate NY a little bit NE of Albany and as a kid in northern Maine where I grew up. Again welcome, Tom Mac

Thanks to all. I've enjoyed this site more than any other hunting site I've been on, and I'll do my best to make a positive contribution. Mac: I don't see my column being generally suited for this website. Although I often write about deer hunting, I also write about turkey hunting, and many other issues. I dropped my personal logo in lieu of my avatar badge, so I made a live link in my signature (I hope that's permissible). If you want to check out some of my writing, feel free to follow that trail. Always for deer -- and deer hunting, Steve

Steve, welcome to the pro-staffer's secret lodge. Take the second bunk on the right-- you're choice, top or bottom. JPH is working on what day you're scheduled for doing dishes. Put your bags down, I'll get Scooter to get them for you. Do you have any toilet paper? I'm looking for a loan until I can get into town. I owe you a handshake.

Shaman, I thought you had promised me the last lower bunk Furthermore, I was told that the rookie visitor gets to do the dishes all week in the secret pro-staffer lodge, right Tom Mac lol

If it gets to be a problem, we'll settle it with an arm wrestling tournament.

Yes, they told me the secret password -- said it was a new one and I was the first to get it. I take it you don't know what it is yet, and I'm not authorized to tell you. As for the handshake, it seems as though my hands began shaking the minute I got my avatar badge. quote:
ORIGINAL: Wanderer Welcome Steve... Lay some wisdom on us that'll make our shots fly truer. I look forward to your input on all subjects. Wisdom that'll make your shots fly truer: don't shoot while you're running through the woods. I might tell a story about that sometime -- maybe over on the turkey forum. My input on "all subjects"? You win the award for being the bravest person here. quote:

I try to make sure my "bunk" is always tops. Are those ethernet dishes, like the rest of our goings-on? How will I recognize Scooter? Sorry, I loan out a lot of things, but I can't afford to loan out toilet paper. Hope things work out for you. Given our ages, I suspect our hands have already been shaking together, yours in Kentucky and mine in Pennsylvania. quote:

And don't worry, I'll take care of all those ethernet dishes -- as long as they stay just as much a secret as the secret pro-staffer lodge. quote:
